Village of Urbancrest Community Plan
About the plan
This project began in May 2019 and is ongoing.
Community residents, Village officials and Franklin County planners are developing a Community Plan for the Village of Urbancrest. Franklin County's role is to facilitate the planning process, collect input and feedback through the process, and report findings and recommendations back to the community, the Working Committee, and Village officials.
Planning area boundaries
The planning area includes all land in the Village of Urbancrest.

Project overview
This project addresses land use, housing, transportation, economic development and other planning issues facing the Village for the next 10-20 years.
It is a consensus-based process using a working committee and public meetings to reach a consensus and a final plan document.
Before being finalized, the plan will go through the Village's review and adoption process.
Planning process
We will document our progress through the year-long planning process. See how the plan takes shape by viewing the
Planning process documents.
Your input is essential to making this project a success. We will hold three public meetings during the planning process. Make sure your voice is heard. Check back periodically to see project updates.
Public meetings
The project's first public meeting was held on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 6:30pm at the Quinichett Pavilion, 3464 First Avenue. At the meeting residents provided input through multiple feedback activities. Residents that were unable to attend the Public Meeting were able to complete an online survey through Sept. 26.
Two additional Public Meeting will be held during the project with the next meeting anticipated for August 2020.
