Building Department
Update: The Building Department is back to normal operations for inspections. The office will be open for appointments only.
If you would like to schedule an appointment to sit down with someone, please call 614-525-3166.
Building, Electrical and HVAC permits may be submitted online on our Permit Portal. Plumbing permits and private well and septic approvals will still need submitted and approved through the Franklin County Public Health Department.

Planning and Zoning
Update: Complete applications (i.e. Zoning Compliance, Variance, Conditional Use, Floodplain, Lot Split and Annexation) and required application fees can be submitted through the following methods:
- By mail to 150 S. Front Street, FSL Suite 10, Columbus, OH 43215
- In person by appointment only
- Online through the Permit Portal for applications currently accepted electronically (Residential Zoning Compliance, Zoning Confirmation Letter)
No applications will be considered formally filed until processed by EDP staff.
