Franklin Twp Southwest Area Gateway Signs
This project began in November 2010 and concluded in April 2011.
Residents and public officials in Franklin Township and the Southwest Area Commission developed a preferred design for community gateway signs. Franklin County and the Neighborhood Design Center facilitating the process.
Gateway signs give neighborhoods a common visual identity, which builds pride and ownership. The Southwest Area Plan, jointly completed by Franklin County and the city of Columbus, recommends installation of joint Franklin Township-Southwest Area Commission gateway signs.
